Website Accessibility Matters

Accessibility is not a badge at the footer. It is whether a customer using a keyboard, a screen reader, or a phone can complete the same tasks as everyone else.

Accessibility is whether a customer can complete the same tasks as everyone else. Keyboard users, screen reader users, people on small screens, and people who cannot interpret low-contrast text are not edge cases. They are part of the market, and they are often protected by policy.

WCAG 2.2 AA is a practical bar: contrast, focus, labels, target size, and structured headings. Meeting it is cheaper during design than after a complaint, a lawsuit, or a procurement checklist.

We implement accessibility as engineering, not as a footer badge. Semantic HTML, visible focus, captions where media exists, and forms that announce errors are the baseline of professional work.

If your current site fails basic keyboard use, that is not a branding problem. It is a product defect. Repair it with the same seriousness you would apply to a payment error.
